               Korle-Bu Security Caught Two Suspected Blood Thieves

On 22nd May 2021, at 2am two guys were caught for allegedly stealing of blood at korle bu through a special operation, by the security and handed over to the police.

The activities of the group came to the attention of the security on a tip-off. They then mounted surveillance that eventually led to the arrest of the suspects this morning around 2am.

They were arrested at the surgical third floor when they made the attempt to steal several pints of blood that had been mobilized for various surgical procedures.

On the other hand, the two suspected thieves have been place or working as a national service personnel, which is mind-blowing by the working staff at the korle-bu teaching hospital.

The suspects have been handed over to the korle-bu police which has initiated investigations in the case. They urge staff to be vigilant when they see any suspicious activity going on in the hospital and to immediately alert the security to forestall the occurrence of any untoward incidents in the hospital.
